Students of the 7th - and 11th grade classes of the Friedrich-Albert-Lange-Gesamtschule and the artists Elmar Horlitz and Klaus Klinger realized this mural in 1999.
Mankind has completed the construction of the tower; it detaches itself from nature into a more and more artificial area of life and is still a threat to it. This is the central motive of the 20-meter-high (60 feet) mural, on Konrad-Adenauer-Strasse in the town center of Solingen.
